Bunny Party

I’ve always loved styling parties but found myself frustrated when collecting all sorts of paper products to pull off a single theme. Not only did the cost add up but often the pieces don’t quite match like they should in a cohesive look. So…

My solution to this dilemma was to create one product (in this case a printable) that was designed to be used it in countless ways. The Bunny Toppers are my first but there will be many more now that I’ve found a solution.

In this blog post I will be sharing a few of the possible uses for these bunny sketches. I hope it inspires you to come up with ideas of your own.

A few ways that I incorporated the Bunny Toppers into my table include… gift tags, place cards, and a cake topper.

Cake Topper

I wanted to add a touches to our Easter table that mimicked what was happening outside. What I see outside this week are small hints of nature starting to wake up from a long sleepy winter and little furry friends that have slowly begun to fill the world again. To create this look on our table, I used a coconut cake and styled it with a small bundle of white carnations, faux twigs and the Bunny Topper.

How to Assemble Cake

  1. Place cake onto a cake plate and add more icing or coconut to fix any flaws from the transfer.

  2. One at a time, insert flower stems into the cake.

  3. Next, add faux twig stems in the same way.

  4. Download and print Bunny Toppers.

  5. Using a scissors, cut out the bunny of choice (three are included in the printable).

  6. Using a hot glue gun, secure a tooth pick on the back of the bunny and insert into the cake.

  7. Enjoy the nature scene and eat it too!

Place Cards

Simply download and print the Bunny Toppers (as many as you need!) on standard white card stock paper (size 8.5 by 11 inch). Then cut out the bunnies and write each guests name using a black pen or marker. Set each table setting with a bunny place card and a flower or two on a seasonal napkin. I found these adorable paper napkins at Target that really pulled our table all together.

Gift Tags

Using the bunny toppers as gift tags is probably my favorite uses of all. Here I used a 4” square gift box but you could also use a small basket. After cutting out the bunny tag I punched two holes at his collar with a hole punch, inserted mint green ribbon through each hole and tied a bow in the middle. Tada! The cutest little gift that I ever did see.
